I use one from '81-on 240. I use the unused high beam switch in the turn signal and the OD light is the green turn signal light in the instrument cluster with a resitor and some diodes to keep the light brightness at a slighly lower level so the turn signal will be brighter.

I did a writeup several years ago. Easy to grab the relays from a PNP.
