Need help: checking float level (with pictures) 120-130

EXCELLENT pictures!

Your float level is NOT too high - if anything it is too low.
Like Phil, I think the problem is somewhere else.
Look at your spark plugs - if it is running very rich they will be dark, black even.
Can you push the car easily when it is out of gear?
Some of our guys have traced poor fuel economy to dragging brakes.
Wheel alignment and tire inflation can affect fuel economy (and tire wear).
