Need help: checking float level (with pictures) 120-130

You might also consider 'flushing' the tranny fluid. The tranny uses type F which is quite cheap. Taking off the drain plug and letting some of the dirty fluid drain out, about 3 quarts or so, and adding the exact amount back in through the dipstick will help your tranny shift better.

If you have never flushed the differental fluid, now is a good time to do so also. Most shops ignore this fluid and after a few years it no longer smells like oil.
