Front vent window rivets 120-130 1967

I just went through all this as I had one broken rivet in my vent window.. We put in all new rubber in both doors of my 122s so we had everything apart anyway.. I do remember though that my brother-in-law very carefully tried to remove the vent window glass but it broke.. I had new rubber for inside of the channel as well although I think the old one could have been used..We did not use glue.. You have to take the panel off inside the door and you will see a bolt and spring that the vent window swivels on.. If you remove the nut and spring you should beable to get the window out... Getting the glass out is the tricky part... I took my broken one to a glass place and for 40 bucks or so,,they cut a new one for me.. If you do get a new one cut,,you have to be very sure it is just right or the vent window will not close.. If you do force the vent window shut ,,it will push the main window channel over and you will not beable to roll up the window.. I went back to the glass place 2 more times to get the glass shaved down, so I do know a bit about doing it the wrong way..I can now see why body shops charge so much money now.. Doing those 2 doors took days.. Good luck!!
