Piling on 200

The pro's all use a large pair of channel lock's, they fit all filters

He he.

I included the tool of last resort in this photo - next to the BF channel lock, the BF screwdriver. Makes a mess.

Anyhow the pic was a no-brainer given this post inspired me to gather them all up in order to get them in one place, for the most part -- except for the more universal tools at the far right.

To the OP, the tool third from the right has been easiest to use on stuck 240 filters. Sure you need to consider what will grab the filter, but also what you can fit in the space where it lives.

Please reply with a photo of an oil filter wrench I don't have. :)
