i now understand what you are referring to by FI relay. my first diagnostic move when the car failed to start was to put my fingers on the FPR. i felt two distinct clicks. i knew there was two relays in the FPR but did not realize one was called the FI relay. i did replace the original FPR with a new one (stribel). another case of preemptive maintenance. in the same spirit i also replaced the CPS.
