Crankcase Ventilation System 700

I read through the FAQ and still have questions. I just purchased a 1991 740 turbo and having oil leaking. I had the same problem on our 93 940 non turbo and the flame trap nipple was clogged. The problem I'm having is the plastic flame trap has buildup but the small nipple that comes the flame trap is broke off. First question, Where does the vacuum hose go from the broken nipple? I can't find anything on the intake manifold. Also, if you follow the hose from the flame trap to the filtered air intake hose ,it connects to the PTC sensor/valve. This is also gunked up and what can I clean this with? Last, I started the car with the flame trap hose removed and the hose to the oil separator box is blowing air. Is this correct? I know this subject has been covered but I'm missing something. thanks again for the help. Matt
