If you're going to do all that work, you might as well do the head gasket. I had the machine shop install new oil seals and valve hushers while they checked the head and ground it level, and cleaned it up. It's got to be way easier to do the head gasket job on a stand instead of in the car. When I did my head gasket, I cleaned the oil seperator box, installed new hoses, water pump, and timing belt. You might as well also put in a new RPM/Crank position sensor, new plugs, and wires too. Basically re-setting your engine to new from a maintenance stand point.
