I am presently have a quad rectangular set up with Sylvania XtraVision bulbs.
I just installed a new set of low beam H4 Cibies that have the stock wattage (55/60) H4 Hella bulbs that came with them. The correct pigtail harness came with the kit and all went in without a hitch. When it got dark, I turned them on and was dismayed to find their brightness wasn't all that great on low beam, but when I kicked on the highbeam, they did brighten up to the 60W level and were brighter overall. It just seems that the 55W portion sucks. The beam pattten is nice and crisp, but am I going to have to step up to the next wattage level to get what makes me happy and does that mean a relay set up?
Thanks in advance.
