Scangauge!

Hi George!
I bought mine on the web from a shop in the UK - was it UKOBD? For you it would mean a lot less hassle to get it directly from Linear Logic at www.scangauge.com or places like Amazon. Amazon currently lists it at 160 USD. I would recommend getting an extra cable - I have routed mine through the dashboard, and this makes it inconvenient to use the instrument to say, help the neighbour with his error codes, to check a car I might want to buy etc.

The way I understand it, the Scangauge (and similar readers) will fit all cars after 1996. Many car manufacturers put OBD2 ports in their cars well before that though. At the Scangauge site there is a compatibility list. I notice that some of the 1994 and 1995 850s are listed.

All the best - I hope the Oklahoma winter isn't too bad this year.
Erling.
