Dented fender - can it be saved? 140-160 1972

It's a glorious spring day, and my 142 was awakened from her winter slumber for the first drive of the season. And look what happened! Did I mention it was St. Patrick's Day? It happened in a parking lot, so I don't know who did it, but I hope their car was more damaged than mine.

Anyway, can this fender be saved? There's a really good body shop in town...maybe they can bang it back into shape. It would be a challenge to find another unrusted 140 fender, and I want to keep on this car as many original parts as possible.

I'm not as worried about the paint since it was a cheap paint job. I can get some touch-up paint, unless the insurance will cover a new paint job, but if they did, it may not match the rest of the car.
