FUBAR 120-130 1967

The rod needs to be fairly hard.
I would go to a bicycle shop and get a 5/16"-24UNF bicycle axle. The cones and their locknuts
make a reasonable facsimile of the push rod adjuster.
Probably will have to cut some off of it.
Be sure and grind the end that goes into the piston round.
