Shift fork boot repl 120-130 1967

What a great car, no jacking required! I ordered a new fork rod from Swedish Treasures at around noon on Friday and got it this Monday, thanks USPS for timely delivery.

The R&R procedure was simple. I placed the old rod next to the new one, compared nut placement and moved the nut from the old to new. Slid on the nice new boot, the original boot was just a dust cap and had seen better days.

I took off the slave and found out where the spring connected! Removed the old fork boot, installed the new boot and in 15 minutes had the slave clean and back in position. My daughter helped by pushing on the clutch so I could see the throw - it worked nicely.

Happy again, time to go for a ride!

Klaus
