It's a '72 and carbed, sorry if I wasn't clear. I do know where the filter is. Spent my lunchtime playing with the car, no spark from the coil and this seems to be an intermittent problem. I removed the points, cleaned and replaced and now it runs great, no hesistation etc. Still don't trust it since this seems to be intermittent but I'll try to make it home. Can the condensor cause something like this? That thing is a mystery to me. Seems like the battery is on it's way out too.
