Addendum

Thanks much for your advice. I had someone I know in AZ take the '94 960 to another shop to have it checked out, and I'm waiting to hear back (he really went out of his way to do that!). Apparently, it's not as immaculate as it looked in the pictures but still looks good. The timing belt was changed, but not the belt tensioner. It has been unsold for a year and a half, so I'm not sure what's up with that, unless not many people want a 1994, and that car only has a cassette. It has Michelins on the front and Goodyears on the back. It failed emissions at its last inspection. Maybe they fixed that, though. Again, thanks very much for your helpful input! Susan
