First test for 12 volts at connector in rear while cranking(2 man job). Here is a "homemade fuel pressure tester" made to work with our B230's. If you have access to a junkyard and a hardware store its easy. http://www.brickboard.com/RWD/volvo/641580/homemade_fuel_pressure_gauge_lh_system.html
Be careful with the fitting on the rail, tends to be quite corroded.
Just curious, after cranking have you pulled a plug and checked to see if its "wet" with gasoline?
