BW35 to M41 Conversion 1800 1973

I plan to do just what you're saying. Yes, it's really cramped quarters getting the pedals out!

Did you leave the original (tall geared) differential in the car? That might explain the 30 mpg. Does it accelerate away from a stand-still OK?
