BW35 to M41 Conversion 1800 1973

The parts car came sans engine, flywheel, and clutch. It has everything else from the bell housing to the rear wheels. In addition the seller threw in a separate (loose) engine with bell housing, clutch, trans, and OD. So I actually have two bell housings, two trans, and two OD's. I'll have to use the flywheel from the loose engine which is supposed to be out of a 71 E coupe. Looking at the top of the head tells me it's a B20E but no clue as to the engine's mileage or condition. So I will remove the bell housing soon and count the flywheel bolts. I wonder, if the teeth look good, if it could be re-drilled if it does indeed have the incorrect bolt pattern. At a minimum I may have the clutch side surfaced just to better my chances of a smooth working clutch. Also it's a good time to replace the rear main seal in the receiving car. I'm wondering if the main seal conversion to the 240 type is a good idea or not.
