BW35 to M41 Conversion 1800 1973

The RMS and housing from a B21/23/230 will fit right onto the B20 -- using the two pan to housing bolts from the later metric motor.
As for auto vs stick flywheel -- an auto trans car has what is called a flexplate - a steel plate with the starter ring gear onto which the torque converter is bolted as opposed to the heavy steel flywheel which also acts as the clutch surface.
For the OP -- The '71 motor will have a 6 bolt flywheel -- that year was the first full year for the D-jet injection and it had a higher compression head than the later versions--'72 and on. It could be a substantial performance upgrade for your '73 motor. -- Dave
