That might be fun and productive if I can't figure this out myself. Where are you in proximity to Port Jeff? I used to sell clams on the side of the road here in CT, my supplier was in Patchouge, so I made that trip a lot, both by road and ferry.

I live about 30 minutes from the ferry terminal in Bridgeport. Not sure of the winter ferry schedule, though. Also I never drive the cars in any kind of wet weather or on snowy, salty, sandy roads if I can help it.
