"Any Volvo will idle all day long here and it gets to 45°C" Yes, if the whole cooling system is 100% efficient, clean and good. Rather wasteful on gas though. I've never used Water Wetter but some find it works for them. I'm sure you've Google'd it if you haven't heard of it.
