Overheating / Cooling 1800 1973

Compared to the Amazon, which has lots of space around the engine for a cooling air stream the1800 has very little. The ES is the worse of the lot due to the inlet manifold etc and if you have a full A/C system under there as well it adds to the problems. Just saying, and I think that other ES owners will sympathise with your problem. Except it isn't a problem unless it goes into the red and boils over regularly. I'd be getting the rad rodded and boiled out if other checks drew a blank.
