I doubt it. 200 1989

Hi Matt,

I'm glad you have a spare AMM to send along. A second ECU might be prudent too, now that you've used your spare and have some time to get a used one a few days for a test drive. Those two items alone are difficult to convict without substitution, and could cost a pretty penny in another state when you need it "now."

On the mileage issue, now that I am aware this car originally came with the AW-70, I'm wondering if the rear axle ratio is correct for the M47? This is something I'm sure many on the board will be able to answer, if neither you nor I know.

On Phil's suggestion, I agree you should watch the oxygen sensor with your DMM, if you are able to. I'm sure Phil has done this before and meant to say it should NOT hover at 0.5V, but in case YOU haven't the experience, do a little googling for what you should expect to see while the system is in closed loop. It will reassure you that at least during idle, the mixture is correct.

Good luck in your process of preparing the car together with your son!
