Yes, a replacement clutch kit has been shipped. I will be returning the defective one.
I still can't believe that there is no visible indication of a problem. Everything appears to be the same as the old one. It just doesn't work.
I'll be sure from now on to test pressure plates before installing them. It would save a lot of work.
