You can repair the leads to the Hall effect sensor with solder and heat shrink tube. I have done it. For great posts in the archives giving procedures and part numbers, go to a post by Jim on 26 June 2000 at 9:31 p.m., and a post by me on 13 December 2000 at 11:43 p.m. It will be a good time to replace the shaft seal while you repair the Hall effect leads and replace the Hall effect wire connector.
