anyone could be right

Although the Cobra that the neighbor had when I was a kid had a 289 with lots of carbs and a rearing snake on the hood, there are lots of replicas around now.

The Single Guy down the street has one with a 427 logo on the fender. I don't know what is really in there, but he rattles my windows when he's being quiet. The V70AWD guy around the corner has one with a 460 that is sort of built up. Yesterday I saw two others. One had the 427 logo, the other one had no badge.

On a slightly different topic, there is another car around that is an explanation of how the Cobra came to exist in the first place. It is a widened, stretched MGA, set on a Mustang chassis. The only one anyone may ever see, and very much like the AC body.
