Re: `86 760 as a winter car?

I do all the work on my Miata, though I've really only replaced shocks, changed the oil, did the gear oil, and that's about it. Spark plugs and junk like that shouldn't be too big of a problem. So as long as I keep up on maintenance, a V6 Volvo isn't bad?

Don't worry, I actually WANT a RWD car for the winter. I love my Miata's RWD and balanced chassis, but it will not see and snow or salt if I can prevent it. I drove an `89 MR2 Supercharged last year and all through the winter, I could not imagine a car worse than that for winter duty. I know how to handle RWD, and it doesn't scare me the least bit.

About the carrier bearing that this 760 needs...is that something that I can do?

Also, is there a list out out there of Volvo dealers or shops in Ohio (that's where this car is)?

Thanks for your input as you've eased my mind a little.
