Man-oh-man, there are constant surprises on/at this Board, a LOTTA smart folks out there! Think about it: AIRCRAFT are serviced based on hours, not miles (I know: apples and oranges...but follow me,please). Doing the same for a car makes eminent sense to me. My almost-2-years in the Army was spent mostly around jet-turbine helicopters, which are hours-of-service maintained. Now, why didn't I think of that? Smart fellow. Cars idle, sit in traffic, etc., etc., putting ZERO miles on the odometer but MANY HOURS on the engine and oil. Congratulations. You deserve a RED STAR! --PD.
