POP...POP.POP...POPPOPPOP...POP.......POP..POP.POP........ and POP!!
Yes, It's a neat idea to have an hourmeter on board. One could get a sort of standard correlation between miles and hours, and use it for ??? We had hourmeters on all our diesel generator sets in Nike Missile sites, but of course they ran at constant speed when in use.
I have wanted an hourmeter on my home a/c system, to see how long the thing really runs on a hot day, at $1.25 an hour it adds up. 168 hours a week times $1.25 time 4.3 weeks per month means monthly bill exceeds the mortgage payment.
In my n/a 1986 244GL I have a stereo in the upper guage space, and in the space below the small clock is a cigarette lighter socket for the radar detector. The socket has a SPDT switch an red indicator so when the squeek bugs the wife.mil too much (tunes in RF from some cash registers) I can switch the detector off and have a reminder.
Regards,
Bob
