Before I head off to our nearest wrecking yard in Taree, an hours return drive, I'm compiling as comprehensive list as I can. Will make the trip later this week. Your advice will be helpful.

At the moment I'm having 2nd thoughts re the wisdom of buying a pre unleaded vehicle. Volvo strongly advises against the use of LRP fuel and regular unleaded. Premium unleaded is considered the only option. The only premium available in our twin towns of Forster/Tuncurry is Shell Optimax......the price is 9 cents a litre dearer than regular unleaded.

I'm not so sure my son will be impressed. One saving grace is that he lives in Sydney and the difference there should be only 4 cents a litre.
