Alternator/Voltage regulator 140-160 1973

A solution, if you don't mind not using stock, is to use a mid 80's GM alternator that has an internal regulator. The only trick is to bore out the hole at the bottom to what ever size your bolt is. Half inch? Not sure, but it works fine and you can get them easy at Autozone type places.

A friend of mine gave me the first one I used to take to the parts store for a match. I don't think it is tough to find the one you need, GM used them on a jillion cars.
