Handling problem solved

We currently own four 700 series turbo cars. One of them, a 1986 745T, has always fishtailed a little in cornering. I didn't know why the wife's wagon handled differently than the other three cars. I found out why today.

I replaced the ball joints and tie rod ends this morning and took the car to my favorite alignment shop this afternoon. The car front end of the car aligned just fine, but the technician found that the right rear wheel was toed out almost 3/16" (to be correct, that would be negative toe in)! The rear axle housing was bent... He said that they could usually straighten the housings for $125. I will be instaling a used rear end that doesn't need straightening in a few days. I willl keep you posted.
