Check to see if the belts turn with the starter motor/engine spinning.
Sounds like the notch/tab on the crank gear sheared with the loose bolt. Thi is a common problem on the B230. Don't just tighten the crank bolt--loctite it!
If the tab is sheared, that is probably the only problem. A used crank pulley should go for about $50.
