Going to a shop 700 1988

Brandon
I don't know for certain but I think your car should have no more than two driveshafts so I don't know which one they call the center one. Is it a bad center driveshaft or did they mean center driveshft bearing, AKA carrier bearing? I just replaced this on my car and it cost me ~$35 for parts and $15 labor to have a shop press the old bearing off and the new one on. I bought the parts and removed the driveshaft (easy) and took it all to them and they pressed it on for me. If you decide to tackle this yourself, make sure that you mark the alignment of the driveshaft before you take it apart. I also marked which bolt came out of which hole on the front and rear flange but I don't know if this is necessary.

I had bent rims on my car also. Its not hard to do. All you have to do is hit a good pothole or smack a curb. I was amazed at how bent the alloys were on my car. Now I don't know what to do with them and they're taking up space in my shed but the car drives much better.

Hope this is helpful

P.S. - Have you found a good mechanic in Tallahassee yet?
