Emergency problem, please help 200 1988

That is correct. The crankshaft pulley must be removed to change the timimg belt. The retaining bolt for the pulley was either left out or not properly torqued upon installation. There is also a key that fits into the slot on the crankshaft and pulley to align them. Be sure that it has not fallen out but probably has when the pulley came loose.
