This might be the time for one of those left-handed drill bits.

If the stud's not tightly bottomed, you might get very lucky with a tiny sharp punch and little hammer. I've been lucky this way several times, though not with that stud.

(I assume you know how to "tap-tap-tap" out a broken stud with a punch.....)
