Memorial Day Project and This Stud is Broken

Yes, Snap On is expensive! But they are good. About 15 years ago I was overhauling the engine in my sister's (ugh!) Subaru. The Subaru engine is a copy of the German DKW by the way. I broke a Craftsman 6 point 14mm socket, then an SK Wayne socket, but the Snap On socket did not break. But even a 3/8 drive 14mm Snap On won't remove the 14mm head bolts used on the B230FT. I use a 3/8 drive impact socket for that.

I sympathize with your broken stud problem on a holiday weekend. I know I don't have an exclusive on that type of problem, but I have had my share.
