Random miss problem seems fixed 200 1988

The job is a little easier if you take the alternator off and replace the brush/regulator pack on the bench...as to the skip, it has been suggested to me in the past that voltage has a lot to do with smooth running-when you are accellerating more voltage is required to fire the mixture. This may be some kind of arcane mechanics' nonsense, but if it is true it might explain the whole thing. Tomorrow I'll discuss the correlation between sunspots and rear wiring harnesses.
