blew it for the last time 700 1991

Thanks Chris. I agree with you now and I'm not gona pull that plug again. For what it's worth, I measured the bolt and it is a #10 X 16 if anyone wants to write that down for future refrence in case you do what I did. I'm pretty sure that is a standard metric size although the moron at the dealership said it was made special for that pan hole and didn't have a number.

I should have learned my lesson with this thing but have a short memory. Several years ago, I had another run in with this bolt but that time it stripped and wouldn't back out and wouldn't tighten either. Had to pull the pan and waste half the day getting it out. Cut the head off with a dremel if I remember figuring I'd just punch it out. Wrong. Then I had the spinning shaft stuck in the hole that wouldn't go either way with nothing to grab on to.. I said never again but today I do almost the same stupid thing. Never again
