Oh man that sucks. Sad to lose a good car like that, and a rare one as well.

It's uh, an 83 Turbo Wagon. Looks damn good.
I would right now get together all your cost documentation, or at least a list of prices, itemized, for whatever you had into that car. The insurance company is going to try really hard to screw you, and give you a check for like $650.
Fight with them, tell them your uncle, the lawyer is going to have to review it, whatever. Book value is going to be way low on that car and they are going to try to SAVE MONEY. You need documentation of what it will take ot get you back into a replacement vehicle. You should not be "out" even $1. Best case perhaps is get the money AND keep the car- they aren't really going ot get much for it whe nthey scrap it. Gotta save those wheels if nothing else. Plus I want your tach and small clock!
