od problem continues and changes! 900

oops..

some of you may remember my post re my od that went south...

well i was fairly convinced by duanes diagnosis of the wire having snapped at the solanoid...made sense to me...

but today the wife rang me up at work to tell me she had taken the car out and guess what...the OD is working perfectly...

what had i done....zilch ...hadnt had any time...

the only thing i can say it previously the car had done a 40 mile run (durring which the OD had failed) then sata for a hour before i tested it again, then sat for a couple of hours before i tested it again.

this time it had sat for 24 hours..is it temp related? The wife did a 20 mile run, then another today with no problems...

I HATE INTERMITTANT PROBLEMS...grrrr

anyone got any ideas?
