Remember one thing! If the dash light works, the relay is not at fault. The dash light on the manual trans vehicles is wired after the relay with the wire to the solenoid.

Concentrate on wiring and the terminals. Do a preventive "treatment" of all terminals and connections. Remove or separate, clean, tighten then reconnect.
