Yeah, the balance shaft tensioner pully, that must be it. It can cause big problems if it breaks can it not? I don't think I'd hesitate to own a 16-valve if it was well maintained though. Although, I like the power of the turbo, especially since my mechanic has my engine 'tweeked' a little (little higher compression, little more boost, etc) :D
