It never ceases to amaze me. Just when I think I have a handle on the situation I see something that throws me for a loop.
VolvoWorld's photo section contains a picture of a 240 which they identify as a 242 GLT built from 1986 to 1993. I don't know how I've missed seeing this. View at:

What's the deal here? Did Volvo continue to make 2 door models after '84 for markets other than the U.S.?
Look at the headlamps and grill. They are square, not the rectangular lamps that we see on 240's from this time period. And the grill seems to be the same as models with the single round headlamp on either side (my favorite configuration).
Damn! I want one of these if it's for real (just dreaming). Actually I really need to hear that this is a spoof or I'll be on the next transatlantic flight. Is this information correct? Someone, please educate me.
