At my wit's end with wet carpets in my 740!!!

If the water smells like coolant, check the heater hoses at the firewall. If it's been raining a lot, check for a stopped up ventilation drain located just above the passenger side frame rail. Make sure the plastic diverter is in place under the passenger side air intake.

Next step, remove all the carpets and the passenger seat. See the FAQ for the procedures on seat removal.

Look under the car for rust holes or missing body rubber plugs. These are added after assembly. There are large drain holes so the paint can drain when the body comes out from the tank.
