It could be you Temp Sensor, Located under the intake manifold on the Drivers side. Look for Yellow wire.
Chances are your Compensation Board is loosing contact in it's socket.

SEARCH: Compensation Board, you will end up with more than a hanful of Threads on this.

I think back in November of 2000, Don Foster had posted pictures of this.
