Easy Question 200 1986

Next time it does this, give the dash top a whack - I bet it'll come right back to life. If it does, you've located the problem. It's a connection in the instrument cluster. Probably the little pins of the temp comp board. The boards themselves do fail but more often it's simply dirty connections.
Remove the cluster and clean 'em up or just ignore it as I do with my 86....
