Was 1971 a good year for the 164?

Sounds nice, though I'm eccentric and like them on narrow wheels and tyres. Most of the time anyway. I just love it when they're sufficiently under tyred that you can really lose the back end big time. That's on Bilstein sports, IPD front bar, no rear, M41,

I'm messing with a B18 PV at the moment. Narrowed 140 rear axle with disk brakes all round. Limited slip diff, and a very low ratio rear end, 4.8/1. Its hilarious to squirt away from roundabouts in it. Because of the diff it's ultra quick off the mark. It'll beat just about any hot hatch. That's on Bilstein sports, IPD front bar, no rear, M41,

You get these modern car owners in their expensive cars and it's getting away from them. Boy do they get pissed.

Regards

Pete
