The IPD rear bar transfers a bit more of that cornering force into the rear wheels - making the rear end nice and lively under cornering. When I got the kit I installed the rear bar first and took it for a spin with the original front bar and it was QUITE tail-happy! With the wider tires its a little harder to slide the tail out under power (with an original 4.1 rear axle) but the steering reacts much more linearly and when it does slide it seems a lot more predictable. I think the 165R15 Firestone F560's I had on the original wheels would tend to fold over a bit when pushed hard - giving a very inconsistent feel at the limit.
