I believe that a four wheel alignment involves making sure that the front and rear wheels track in the same line. The adjustment is done at the front wheels to make them in line with the rear. This is in addition to the toe in adjustment. I had a Reliant once which had camber adjustments, using shims, in the rear wheels.
